FAQ / Additional Information

Live animal drop-off: Cattle need to be delivered to:

Bar W Beef - 1111 W Hwy 132 Nephi,
Ut. 84648 between 2:00-4:00 pm the day before their scheduled slaughter day.

If you would like to drop your cattle off earlier, arrangements can be made.

What is included in the costs? USDA Inspected Slaughter, USDA Inspected Processing,Packaging, Boxing, All Disposal Costs.
Do you offer Carcass Grading? Yes, If you would like to have your beef carcasses graded, we offer this service as part of the USDA Remote Grading Program.
What are the Aging Times? Dry aging time will depend greatly on carcass condition, typical hang time is10-14 days. Additional dry aging time is available at an extra cost. ($10/day per animal)
How is the meat packaged? All cuts are vacuum sealed. Ground products are packaged in chubs. Vacuum sealed “brick” packaging is available for an extra charge.

Delicious and convenient, our ground beef patties are available at $1.50/lb with a 25lb minimum order (1/2 lb, 1/3 lb, 1/4 lb cuts).

Our ground beef bricks are a versatile option, priced at $1.00/lb.

Carcass Grading


(Optional) For those looking for additional insights, we offer carcass grading at $50/head.

processing will incur a cold storage fee of $25/day
